Growing Offspring Wellness (GROW) Study
- Social-emotional development helps children build strong relationships, manage their emotions, and respond to others effectively.
- Insomnia during pregnancy or the postpartum period (perinatal insomnia) may affect social-emotional development in children. However, previous data are observational, making it difficult to draw causal conclusions.
Our Opportunity
- In the PRISM Study, Dr. Felder is comparing the effect of two sleep programs on insomnia and mental health. This study follows the mothers and babies until the babies are 1 year old.
- The GROW Study follows the PRISM Study moms and babies to examine the long-term effects of the sleep programs on maternal sleep and mental health, and child development.
- Interested PRISM participants will be contacted by the GROW Study team for more information on how to take part.
